Howard Stern endorsed Republican Senate candidate Linda McMahon in her race against Democrat incumbent Richard Blumenthal on Thursday morning's Howard Stern Show broadcast.

Stern called Blumenthal a "cookball" and a "lunatic" for his 2008 stance against the Sirius XM satellite radio merger. "I smell a rotten fish," said Stern regarding Blumenthal's anti-merger position. "Me smells lobbyist money!"
