Hollywood Writer Describes ‘Coming Out’ As a Conservative

A-list director and writer David Mamet is an Oscar and a Tony Award-nominee and a Pulitzer-Prize winner. A true rarity, this successful Hollywood screenwriter has “come out” (as Fox put it) as a political conservative. This, of course, can be tough in a world that is dominated by left-leaning minds. Playright David Mamet: No Longer a 'Brain-Dead Liberal'

David Mamet's Coming Out Party

Before he moved to California, Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright David Mamet had never talked to a self-described conservative. 'I realized I lived in this bubble.'.

In March 2008, David Mamet was outed in the Village Voice. The Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright had a comedy about an American president running on Broadway, and—perhaps to help with ticket sales—decided to write an article about the election season. The headline was subtle: "Why I Am No Longer a 'Brain-Dead Liberal.'" READ MORE...

Diversity is a "commodity." College is nothing more than "Socialist Camp." Liberalism is like roulette addiction. Toyota's Prius, he tells me, is an "anti-chick magnet" and "ugly as a dogcatcher's butt." Hollywood liberals—his former crowd—once embraced Communism "because they hadn't invented Pilates yet." Oh, and good radio isn't NPR ("National Palestinian Radio") but Dennis Prager, Michael Medved and Hugh Hewitt.

Joan Rivers to Obama: Stop Campaigning and Take Care of the F***ing Country. 'Actors Should Stay Out of Politics'

Well we will put Joan under the "former idiots" category. And since she recommended actors stay out of politics (smart move!) we will also place her in our "smart celebrity" category as well, being we have a major shortage of content in that category...

Hawaii elections clerk rips 'overall filth' in Washington. 'These people must be held accountable, must be punished, removed from power'

The former Hawaii elections clerk who has claimed he was told by his superiors a long-form birth certificate for Barack Obama did not exist in the Aloha State says the release of what is purported to be the president's original birth record does not resolve the main issues surrounding Obama and the "overall filth" in Washington.

Tim Adams, who was senior elections clerk for the city and county of Honolulu in 2008, told WND: "The real issues involved in the birth-certificate controversy remain the same: Obama's refusal to answer to the American people, the arrogance and crime that runs rampant among the political 'ruling' classes in Washington, and the loss of rights and freedoms by American citizens.

"These haven't changed one bit today – except that it has taken three years of national controversy for a sitting president to grudgingly dole out a milksop of compliance with the laws of the country, this is the best lesson from today."

Adams, a self-described liberal Democrat who thinks Obama is eligible for office because his mother was American, lamented what he feels is an out-of-control federal government, explaining, "There is a group of men and women who currently are waging multiple, illegal wars, paying off special interests with taxpayer monies, violating every law on the books, and operating as if we were subjects to be dictated to at gunpoint; this must end. Obama's controversy is just a symptom of the overall filth that is Washington. These people must be held accountable, must be punished, and must be removed from power, by whatever means are necessary. As for their excuses, every perp has a f---ing excuse." READ MORE...

TRUMP ON FIRE! Trump Tells Hannity: Bill Ayers Wrote Obama’s Book. Ayers, Rezko, Wright, "He drops these guys, and the press leaves him alone.”

Trump addresses the Ayers issue in both segments of this interview

“Somebody said, ‘What’s his [Obama’s] biggest asset?’ He is politically lucky. He really is. He’s led a charmed life. Well, the media is letting him get away with it.”

Trump went on to discuss Obama’s past associations with retired college professor and co-founder of the Weather Underground Bill Ayers, the controversial Rev. Jeremiah Wright and convicted real estate developer and political fundraiser Tony Rezko.

Trump asserted that Ayers wrote Obama’s best-selling book “Dreams of My Father” and that Obama sat in Wright’s congregation for 20 years while Wright “spewed hate against white people.”

Obama dropped his friends when the going got tough, Trump said. “So you got Reverend Wright, you got Bill Ayers, you got Tony Rezko. He drops these guys, and the press leaves him alone.”

Jon Stewart Savages Democrats: Your Big Plan Is to Label the Tea Party as Extreme?

Jon Stewart doubted the Democratic party truly knew what they were up against in the budget battle with Republicans. Stewart's disappointment with Democrats began with President Obama and now continued with the senators who apparently had a secret "big plan" that merely involved labeling the Tea Party as "extreme."

Jon Stewart hasn't come around all the way...yet, but he is one of the few who have made our 'dumb' celebrity, 'smart' celebrity, and 'former' idiot categories...

Jon Stewart Mocks Obama’s New Video While Exposing Broken Campaign Promise

It seems Jon Stewart is becoming less and less a fan of President Obama every day.

Last week he hammered the president over the assertion that NATO would be taking over the war in Libya. This week, he‘s lampooning the president’s new campaign video and one of his biggest, broken campaign promises: transparency.

In the segment, Stewart is baffled by the “supporters” used in the president’s new video. How’d we go from “yes we can” to “you know, whatever?” he asks. He then quickly moves on to pointing out one of the most ironic news items of last week — that Obama received a transparency award in secret.

It will be interesting to see as the campaign picks up if Stewart’s disillusion is because of what the president is doing, or whether he’s upset with what the president is not doing. Is he upset Obama is making harmful decisions, or is he angry he isn’t liberal enough? We’ll see.

FUNNY VIDEO: Not Even Jon Stewart is Buying the President’s NATO Argument

Remember when the AP called out Obama’s claim that NATO will be taking over the Libyan mission, thus absolving the U.S. of a leadership role? Well, it looks like not even Jon Stewart is buying it.

On his program last night, Stewart delivered an epic roast of Obama’s speech, criticizing the president for his angry tone, his intervention arguments, and his NATO dreams.

FORMER IDIOT? Obama Supporter Matt Damon Admits: I’m No Longer a Fan

He's still an idiot and a misguided elitist hypocrite...but we appreciate his honesty.

In an interview set to air tonight on CNN, Obama supporter and actor Matt Damon admitted he has had a change of heart when it comes to the president. According to Damon, Obama hasn’t come through on his promises.

Piers Morgan pointedly asked Damon, who campaigned for Obama in 2008, if Damon was happy with Obama and still a fan. Damon responded, “No. No. I really think he misinterpreted his mandate.” He went on to quote a friend who said, “I no longer hope for audacity.”

While the clip doesn’t show it, a story on CNN’s website says Damon went on to criticize Obama for his State of the Union speech: READ MORE...

Trump Blasts Obama’s China Love During SOTU

(Interview starts at 2:00)

China is not a friend of the US and should not have been praised during President Obama’s State of the Union speech Tuesday.

That’s how CNBC paraphrased Donald Trump’s reaction to the State of the Union speech. In addition to calling the remarks “mostly talk,” Trump launched into an impassioned diatribe about the president heaping praise on the communist country.

“Interestingly, he was talking about how great China is … [but] it’s supposed to be a speech about us,” he said. “And China’s been hurting this country and hurting it very badly.”

“I thought the low point was when he talked about how great China was,“ Trump added ”To me that was inappropriate to have in this speech, especially in light of what has happened with China.”

He even went as far as to say China is “not a friend of this country”:

Trump realizes it could be seen as odd to be upset with China when he himself does business with the country. But he said he has “no choice” but to buy certain products from the country, and if China adhered to fair trade principles, he wouldn’t have as much of a problem.

Does it sound like he’s hoping to one day give his own SOTU speech?

FINALLY: Greenpeace Founder Questions Man-Made Global Warming

Patrick Moore, co-founder of the environmental organization Greenpeace, isn’t too hot about global warming. Appearing on Fox Business Network with Stuart Varney on Thursday, he said global warming is a “natural phenomenon,” there’s no proof of man-made global warming, and suggested that “alarmism” is driving politicians to create bad environmental policies. He also said he’s not the only environmentalist that believes like him:

Moore is the author of the book, “Confessions of a Greenpeace Dropout: The Making of a Sensible Environmentalist,” in which he exposes the green movement and explains why he left the organization.

While talking with Varney, he explained that departure was in part due to the group’s “extremist positions” and it being hijacked by political and social causes as well as the left:

Gene Simmons: I Want My Obama Vote Back

Well, his reason for voting for Obama in the first place was borderline 'retarded'' but we will still place him under our 'smart celebrity' catagory even though he's a former idiot.

'By the way Gene, Barack Obama is NOT black.'

Why don't people get this?!?

Let's give Kathleen Parker credit for not badgering rock star Gene Simmons with, "Yeah, but aren't I as awesome and chic and cute as Sarah Palin is stupid?" Such restraint on the part of someone so "unqualified" to co-host a television show next to a guy smarter than she is, who runs circles around her, is admirable. Parker's sucking up to the left under the mistaken belief they wouldn't smell weakness and abuse it for every partisan advantage is a "naive" mistake Sarah Palin never made - you know, the Sarah Palin with the successful TV show and bright future.

FORMER IDIOT? Losing Hope: Confessions of an Obama Supporter

Greg Smith, 46 from New York, has supported Barack Obama since the now-president announced his bid for the White House in 2007. But three years later the diehard Obamaniac has a sober admission: he’s losing hope.

In 2007, the New York Post featured Smith’s story — he was a converted Clinton supporter that left his work as a hotel doorman to campaign for Obama. Obama read the story and asked Smith to introduce him at a campaign event and also tell his story. He did, began campaigning for Obama full-time, and even was present backstage during the Democratic National Convention speech in Denver.

Obama won the election. Life was great — hope and change were alive. But now, reality has set in, and Smith — back at his old job – wonders aloud to the Post what happened:

Two years later, I’m living a more sober reality.

My life is not better. I‘m a college graduate and I still can’t get a good job.

I’m back working as a doorman at a Manhattan hotel earning peanuts because my wife was diagnosed with breast cancer and I need the health insurance again.

I share the same sentiments of Velma Hart, the woman who confronted Obama at a town hall last week, saying she was tired of defending him. The idea of leaving New York is even on the table.

Obama has let professional politicians take over the White House — and our dream of change.

I know it’s childish to expect solutions to happen overnight. Obama inherited a big old mess, and I don’t expect him to have everything figured out after 18 months.

But we’re only human and we want to see some visible change.

I’m trying to keep up my hope — but I’m afraid that instead of being that guy who knocked on doors in Denver, I’m now the person who needs convincing.

NOTE- We will give Greg Smith the benefit of the doubt and call him a 'former' idiot. We have even placed him in our 'former idiot' section. He did support Hillary Clinton at one time, who would of been a major disaster for America if she had become president. Hillary is no different than Obama.

So hopefully Greg has learned that it's PROGRESSIVES who are ruining America, no matter what color they are or what party their in.
