LYING ARROGANT DICTATOR: Defense of Marriage Out, Phony Constitutional Concern In...

Wednesday afternoon, Barack Obama trotted out his favorite “document of negative rights,” The U.S. Constitution, and used it to chart a course that will do away with the Defense of Marriage Act. According to the President, the act signed by Bill Clinton is unconstitutional, and he’s ordered Attorney General Eric Holder to stop defending it in court cases. Holder has agreed and will cease defense of the law, which states marriage is between a man and a woman.


There’s so much wrong with this, it’s hard to know where to start.

First and foremost, the President has no right to declare something unconstitutional. You don’t have to be a “community organizer” turned “constitutional scholar” to know this. Heck, anyone who’s seen even five minutes of Schoolhouse Rock is probably aware of the three branches of government. The Judiciary branch is responsible for determining constitutionality, not the Executive. Pronouncing the law unconstitutional, without due process, is a gross overextension of Presidential authority.

Second, both the President and the Attorney General have sworn an oath to uphold the nation’s laws. It’s not their place to determine which ones they view as being worthy of defense of implementation. If the Legislative branch chooses to pass a law doing away with the Defense of Marriage act, that’s their prerogative. The President can sign it as he sees fit. Otherwise, Holder is there to enforce and support the laws as they exist, not as his boss wishes they did. In refusing to defend the law as written, both Obama and Holder are willfully derelict in their duties.

Finally, since when is Obama so concerned with Constitutionality?

His signature health care law has been ruled unconstitutional by two separate federal judges, yet he’s proceeding with its implementation. If, as Obama seems to believe, the government should stop the defense of unconstitutional laws, why isn’t he abandoning his dream of an Obamacare utopia? READ MORE...

EVIL EMPIRE: Obamacare stops construction at 45 physician owned hospitals nationwide

What a superlative idea! Let's throw thousands of construction workers out of work and make it harder to access quality medical care at the same time.

Under the headline, "Construction Stops at Physician Hospitals," Politico reports today that "Physician Hospitals of America says that construction had to stop at 45 hospitals nationwide or they would not be able to bill Medicare for treatments." Stopping construction at doctor-owned hospitals might not seem like the best way to boost the economy or to promote greater access and choice in health care, but that exactly what Obamacare is doing.


Kenneth Artz of the Heartland Institute explains, "Section 6001 of the health care law effectively bans new physician-owned hospitals (POHs) from starting up, and it keeps existing ones from expanding." Politico adds, "Friday [New Year's Eve] marked the last day physician-owned hospitals could get Medicare certification covering their new or expanded hospitals, one of the latest provisions of the reform law to go into effect."

This little-noticed but particularly egregious aspect of Obamacare is, by all accounts, a concession to the powerful American Hospital Association (AHA), a supporter of Obamacare, which prefers to have its member hospitals operate without competition from hospitals owned by doctors.

Dr. Michael Russell, president of Physician Hospitals of America, which has filed suit to try to stop this selective building-ban from going into effect, says, "There are so many regulations [in Obamacare] and they are so onerous and intrusive that we believe that the section [Section 6001] was deliberately designed so no physician owned hospital could successfully comply." Where’s Barack? Report Says Obama Spends Nearly 50% of Time Traveling

Maybe the president doesn’t like Washington, D.C. Maybe he really likes Air Force One. But whatever the reason, recently compiled statistics show he spends a lot of time on the road: 48 percent of his time, to be exact.

CBS News’s Mark Knoller, who regular compiles White House statistics, released numbers on Friday showing that the president has spent nearly 50 percent of his presidency outside Washington, D.C. As of January 2, Obama has been president for 712 days, reports the Washington Examiner. For 339 of those days — about 48 percent — Obama has been MIA from Washington.


“According to Knoller, Obama has spent 176 days on domestic trips, 70 days on foreign travel, 58 days on vacation, and 35 days at Camp David,” The Examiner’s Byron York writes. And “you can add a couple more vacation days to the total before the president returns from his break in Hawaii.”



Knoller’s numbers also show Obama enjoys recreation. He’s played 57 rounds of golf since taking office (29 of them in 2010) and gone on 28 basketball outings (20 of those coming in 2010).

As for the president’s low approval ratings, they’re not for lack of effort. As York points out, “of Obama’s 712 days in office, just 45 days have passed without a presidential public appearance or statement of some sort.”


York’s conclusion: “So as he begins his re-election campaign, Obama can travel even more and engage the people more. But that won‘t change the fact that many voters simply don’t like what he has done.”


And if that means Obama is unsuccessful in his re-election bid, at least we know he hasn’t grown too attached to D.C.

'One of the Most Corrupt Presidents in Modern Times'

Incoming House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa, R-Calif., said on Sunday that when he previously said during a radio interview Rush Limbaugh that Obama "has been one of the most corrupt presidents in modern times," he was referring to the Obama administration and not the president himself.

"In saying that this is one of the most corrupt administrations, which is what I meant to say there," Issa said, "when you hand out $1 trillion in TARP just before this president came in, most of it unspent, $1 trillion nearly in stimulus that this president asked for, plus this huge expansion in healthcare and government, it has a corrupting effect."

NOTE- Obama is hands down the most corrupt President in U.S history. Even as a Senator, he managed to make the top 10 'most corrupt' list by judicial watch. He also made the list as president! The media didn't feel that it was important news during their election coverage...

In an on-the-fly interview with CNSNews.com, White House Office of Science and Technology Director John P. Holdren explained what he meant when he wrote in his 1973 book Human Ecology: Problems and Solutions that “A massive campaign must be launched to restore a high-quality environment in North America and to de-develop the United States.”

In that book, co-authored with Paul and Anne H. Ehrlich, Holdren also calls wealth redistribution (both within and among nations) “absolutely essential” in order to provide a decent life for everyone.

CNSNews.com: “You wrote ‘a massive campaign must be launched to restore a high quality environment in North America and to de-develop the United States’ in your book Human Ecology. Could you explain what you meant by de-develop the United States?”

Holdren: “What we meant by that was stopping the kinds of activities that are destroying the environment and replacing them with activities that would produce both prosperity and environmental quality.”

When asked how this would be achieved, Holdren responded, “Through the free-market economy.”

Holdren has long worried about population overgrowth and what might happen should our current environmental and economic state not be able to support the world’s inhabitants. Documented: Grounds for impeachment. 'This is the beginning of the end for the United States unless ... '

Obama's administration decision to drop a case that prosecutors already had won against some "black nationalist thugs" who were seen on video apparently intimidating voters during the 2008 election.

Obama fired an inspector general, Gerald Walpin, after he exposed corruption linked to one of Obama's buddies, Sacramento Mayor Kevin Johnson.

Just when you thought there couldn't be any more players in the ongoing soap opera over the hunt for President Obama's original birth certificate and his constitutional eligibility for office, there comes yet another name: Elena Kagan.

Yes, the same Elena Kagan nominated by the commander in chief to be the next justice on the U.S. Supreme Court has actually been playing a role for some time in the dispute over whether Obama is legally qualified to be in the White House.

Here's the connection. Kagan served as solicitor general of the United States from March 2009 until May of this year.

In that role, she legally represented the U.S. government in numerous cases coming before the Supreme Court.

A simple search of the high court's own website reveals Kagan's name coming up at least nine times on dockets involving Obama eligibility issues.

Candidate for Congress: 'Usurper' holds Oval Office. But impeachment not solution, since 'that would imply he held seat in valid manner'

A candidate for Congress in New York's 2nd District, a seat now held by Democrat Steve Israel, says there is a "usurper" in the Oval Office and impeachment isn't the solution since "that would imply that he held the seat in a valid manner in the first place."

The comments by Constitution Party candidate Anthony Tolda were reported on a blog calling on Obama to release his records.

"For our Constitution to continue to exist much longer Barack Hussein Obama aka Barry Soetoro must be removed from office," the candidate's statement said. "I would not seek to impeach him, as that would imply that he held the seat in a valid manner in the first place."



In it, he references the "usurper" in the office of the president.

But the blog expands on that, noting that Tolda was asked specifically about Obama's eligibility to be president.

The candidate responded, "There is a process to remove seat holders that are not able to legally hold a seat. Until now the highest seat that was removed from the holder in this manner is a seat(s) in the U.S. Senate.

"I will seek to begin this process as soon as I am sworn in. Although I do not intend to pursue an impeachment, I would assist in any efforts started by others in office to impeach. Only so long as I can verify that it would not nullify my plans for the annulment-type removal that has been used on senators unfit to legally hold office in the past," he said.
