At least three White House advisors and officials, including President Obama's regulatory czar, Cass Sunstein, have ties to an effort funded by billionaire George Soros to push for a new, "progressive" U.S. Constitution.

WND first reported last week that Sunstein's wife, Samantha Power, has been a champion of a Soros-funded doctrine, entitled "responsibility to protect," which was used by Obama to justify engaging in an international military alliance to bomb Libya. Christine O'Donnell: FBI Investigation a Ridiculous Thuggish Rumor

Failed Senate candidate Christine O'Donnell denied Thursday that she misused campaign funds, telling Fox News that an apparent criminal investigation into her spending is yet another attempt to tarnish the Tea Party movement.

"It appears that this is just the same thug tactics that they've been using for months to discredit this anti-establishment movement," O'Donnell said.

The Delaware Republican defended herself after it was revealed that federal authorities have launched the probe to determine whether she broke the law by using campaign money to pay personal expenses. On Wednesday, a person familiar with the investigation told The Associated Press that it was being conducted. The case, which has been assigned to two federal prosecutors and two FBI agents in Delaware, has not been brought before a grand jury.

But O'Donnell told Fox News it was "awfully suspicious" for a reporter to be tipped off to the probe before anybody on her campaign team. She described the claim as "trumped-up," suggesting it stemmed from an earlier complaint filed by watchdog Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington.

"There's never been any misappropriation or misuse of campaign funds," O'Donnell said, suggesting the accusations were being driven by political opponents. READ MORE...

First Lady’s New Chief of Staff: Dem Fundraiser & ‘Soros-Friendly Bundler’

Nearing the midpoint of Michelle Obama’s inaugural term, there is a reported shake-up going on amongst the first lady’s senior staff. Obama’s chief of staff, Susan Sher, is reportedly stepping down after having been on the job for just under a year and a half. Before her White House stint, Sher served as Obama‘s superior at the University of Chicago Medical Center and as an attorney for Chicago Mayor Richard Daley’s administration.

Stepping into Sher’s shoes is another close confidante of the Obamas: Tina Tchen.

Beck Responds to ADL Statement Calling His Soros Reporting ‘Horrific’ & ‘Offensive’

After three days of television shows focusing on the work and impact of George Soros, the wave of Beck criticism crested Thursday night with the leader of the Anti-Defamation League issuing a strong denunciation of the programs:

Throughout three programs this week, Mr. Beck has portrayed Mr. Soros, a billionaire investor and philanthropist, as a “puppet master” who is “notorious for collapsing economies and regimes all around the world” and whose “next target” is the United States. Citing Mr. Soros’s statements about the decline of the dollar, Mr. Beck said, “Not only does he want to bring America to her knees, financially, he wants to reap obscene profits off us as well.”

Abraham H. Foxman, national director of the Anti-Defamation League, took issue with Mr. Beck’s depiction of Mr. Soros as a “Jewish boy helping sending the Jews to the death camps,” calling it “offensive” and “horrific.”

On Tuesday on his Fox program, watched by about 2.8 million people, Mr. Beck said that during the Holocaust, the 14-year-old Mr. Soros “used to go around with this anti-Semite and deliver papers to the Jews and confiscate their property and then ship them off.”

Mr. Beck continued: “I am certainly not saying that George Soros enjoyed that, even had a choice. I mean, he’s 14 years old. He was surviving. So I’m not making a judgment.
