CRISIS! CATASTROPHE! GREAT DEPRESSION! BRINK OF DISASTER! HEY, LET'S REPEAL 'DON'T ASK DON'T TELL!'

President Obama said Wednesday night he will work with Congress and the military to repeal the "don't ask, don't tell" policy that bars gays and lesbians from openly serving in the armed forces.

Obama made the remark in his first State of the Union speech during a short litany of civil rights issues, which included his successful hate crimes bill, a move to "crack down on equal-pay laws" and improvement of the immigration system.

"We find unity in our incredible diversity, drawing on the promise enshrined in our Constitution: the notion that we are all created equal, that no matter who you are or what you look like, if you abide by the law you should be protected by it," he said.

"We must continually renew this promise. My administration has a Civil Rights Division that is once again prosecuting civil rights violations and employment discrimination. We finally strengthened our laws to protect against crimes driven by hate," he said. READ MORE...

NOTE- Give them an inch, they will take a mile. If 'don't ask, don't tell' is working just fine, why toy with it? If gays 'openly' serve, look for assaults to increase. Look for gay military parades on the base and 'domestic partnership' base housing, ridicule, lower troop morale, separate living quarters-barracks and showers, lawsuits for discrimination, some frivolous, along with many other disasters that this will create in addition to the cost by the taxpayer.

Why do liberals always try to force the gay lifestyle onto everyone. People have the right to disagree with that lifestyle. It doesn't mean you're 'homophobic.' If you're gay and in the military, do your job, shut your mouth (when working) and do whatever you want in your bedroom after work.

Liberals are the LAST people who should have influence in decision making when it comes to the military. MOST are anti-American, anti-military and most have never served, in addition to the fact that liberals are friggin idiots. They're doing this for one reason and one reason only; the gay vote.

THE ONLY PEOPLE WHO SHOULD MAKE THIS DECISION ARE THE MEN AND WOMEN IN THE MILITARY AND VETERANS. LET THEM VOTE ON IT. NOT NANCY PELOSI, NOT BARNEY FRANK, NOT A COMMUNITY ORGANIZER, NOT CHUCK SCHUMER, NOT MAXINE WATERS. FAIR?
