"THUG-THIZZLE" PRESIDENT: Stampede Chaos as Thousands of Dallas Residents Apply for Housing Vouchers. FLASHBACK VIDEO:

Welcome to the era of "Obama Nation." Do you think these people would be sprinting faster than Usaine Bolt had this been a job fair? Probably not, but this is the entitlement society the democrats have created in America. This will NOT help these people, but hurt them in the long run as they wait for some more "free sh*t" to come their way before they decide to turn off Maury Povich and get up off the couch.

CBO: True Cost of Fannie, Freddie Bailouts $317 Billion, Not $130 Billion Obama Claims...

The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) says the real cost of the federal government guaranteeing the business of failed mortgage giants Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac is $317 billion -- not the $130 billion normally claimed by the Obama administration. READ MORE...

IDIOTS: Pro-Obama Media Are Always Shocked By 'Unexpected' Bad Economic News...

Unexpectedly!

As megablogger Glenn Reynolds, aka Instapundit, has noted with amusement, the word “unexpectedly,” or variants thereof, keeps cropping up in mainstream-media stories about the economy.

“New U.S. claims for unemployment benefits unexpectedly climbed,” reported cnbc.com May 25.

“Personal consumption fell,” Business Insider reported the same day, “when it was expected to rise.”

“Durable goods declined 3.6 percent last month,” Reuters reported May 25, “worse than economists’ expectations.”

“Previously owned home sales unexpectedly fall,” headlined Bloomberg News May 19.

“U.S. home construction fell unexpectedly in April,” wrote the Wall Street Journal May 18.

Those examples are all from the last two weeks. Reynolds has been linking to similar items since October 2009. READ MORE...

SO GAY: Democrat Barney Frank Admits Helping Ex-Lover a Job at Fannie...

U.S. Rep. Barney Frank admitted he helped his ex-lover land a lucrative post with Fannie Mae in the early 1990s while the Newton Democrat was on a committee that regulated the lending giant — but he called questions of a potential ethical conflict “nonsense.”

“If it is (a conflict of interest), then much of Washington is involved (in conflicts),” Frank told the Herald last night. “It is a common thing in Washington for members of Congress to have spouses work for the federal government. There is no rule against it at all.” READ MORE...

Outrage: Freddie and Fannie Execs Pocketed $35 Million in Taxpayer Money Thanks to Democrats

Top executives at Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were paid more than $35 million in the past two years while the two bailed-out mortgage finance giants were receiving $153 billion in support from taxpayers.

The huge payouts came to light in a new report published on Thursday by the Federal Housing Finance Agency’s Office of Inspector General.

“Although the Enterprises [Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac] have lost billions of dollars and continue to depend upon federal support to remain in business,” the reported states, “their senior executives continue to receive multi-million dollar salaries.” READ MORE...

ABC: Obama's 'Recovery Summer' Withers: Existing Homes Sales Dive to 15-Year Low

After months of withering job losses and weak economic growth, summer was going to be the season of recovery, the Obama administration heralded in June.

Thousands of infrastructure and construction projects funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act were to come on-line during June, July and August, helping to "create jobs for American workers and economic growth for businesses, large and small."

The White House dubbed it "Recovery Summer" and President Obama declared the economy had begun "growing at a good clip." Vice President Joe Biden predicted weeks earlier that creation of 250,000 to 500,000 new jobs a month could soon be on the horizon. READ MORE...

Existing Home Sales Fall Record 27.2% to 15-Year Low

Buying activity in the residential real estate market slowed dramatically in July, according to a report released Tuesday by the National Association of Realtors. The dramatic plunge is yet another sign the U.S. economy may be heading toward a slowdown or double-dip recession.

The realtor industry group said existing home sales plummeted 27.2% in July to an annualized pace of 3.83 million units from a downwardly-revised 5.26 million units in June.

With this drop, existing home sales are now down 25.5% from July 2009 and have hit the lowest level since May of 1995. READ MORE...

30,000 FREELOADERS! MOB RUSH FOR FED AID DRAWS RIOT POLICE: What The Hell Are The Democrats Doing? Deficit adds $165,040,000,000.00 in just ONE month!

30,000 line up for housing vouchers, some get rowdy..

Thirty thousand people showed up to receive Section 8 housing applications in East Point Wednesday, suffering through hours in the hot sun, angry flare-ups in the crowd and lots of frustration and confusion for a chance to receive a government-subsidized apartment.

The massive event sometimes descended into a chaotic mob scene filled with anger and impatience. Some 62 people needed medical attention and 20 of them were transported to a hospital, authorities said. A baby went into a seizure in the heat and was stabilized at a hospital. People were removed on stretchers and when a throng of people who had been waiting hours in a line were told to move to another line, people started pushing, shoving and cursing, witnesses said.

Still, officials of East Point declared the day a success. Nobody was arrested and nobody was seriously injured, they said. It was an assessment roundly challenged by many of the people who had to go through it. READ MORE...

WATCH: Atlanta Crowds Riot for Gov't Handouts

Wow, that 'liberalism' is working out really well isn't it? The democrats have done an excellent job with minorities, the poor, women and children haven't they? It's a shame we can't get 30,000 people to show up to fill out a job application, but free money? This is how democrats use YOUR money to buy THEIR votes. It's disgusting and anti-American. Video: Fannie Mae, Countrywide’s mutual backscratching

Color me a little surprised that CBS covered this story this week — and credit it to Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA), who has doggedly “followed the money” in this scandal for the last two years. While we knew about the Friends of Angelo program that counted Chris Dodd and others on Capitol Hill among its beneficiaries, the scale of the income involved for Fannie Mae execs and their reach within government is certainly worth a much closer look. With Barack Obama threatening to undermine the basis for these kinds of shenanigans in the future, will this coverage become a fashion trend now in the American media? We can only hope: READ MORE...

DISGRACED FANNIE MAE DEEP IN CARBON SCHEME: Mortgage giant set to collect millions marketing homeowners' energy savings. (Please STOP voting democrat)

With the Obama administration pushing for cap-and-trade legislation, former Clinton and Obama adviser Franklin Raines has positioned the government-sponsored mortgage giant Fannie Mae to make millions by selling carbon credits from American homes.

Two patents applied for by Raines as one of several "co-inventors" – Nos. 6904336 and 7133750 – create a "method for identifying, quantifying, and aggregating reductions in residential emissions into a tradable commodity." The patents are identically titled "System and Method for Residential Emissions Trading."

The idea appears to be for Fannie Mae to create "Collateralized Carbon Obligations," or CCOs, by utilizing a methodology similar to its system for combining individual home loans into Collateralized Loan Obligations, or CLOs.

The patents give Fannie Mae the methods for identifying and measuring energy savings in homes that can be packaged and sold to carbon polluters as credits on a carbon exchange.

Instead of selling the Collateralized Loan Obligations to institutional investors, including financial institutions and banks, the energy savings in thousands of U.S. homes would be packaged by Fannie Mae and sold as Collateralized Carbon Obligations on a carbon exchange, such as the Chicago Climate Exchange. The buyers would be carbon emitters who emit so much carbon dioxide they are required to buy carbon offset credits. READ MORE...

Collection of devastating excerpts from the Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac hearings before Congress in 2004. These excerpts from the hearings show the "willful blindness" and corruption that went into the Democrats continual support for these two criminal enterprises, and the efforts made by the Republicans to clean up what everyone knew was coming.

OH NO! Top 10 'most corrupt' Congressman Barney 'Banking Queen' Frank to chair financial reform committee! This is really bad...

This will be a major economic disaster. What are Americans thinking when they put people like Frank, Pelosi and Obama in power? This is another form of economic suicide.

(Reuters) - Democratic lawmaker Barney Frank will get the influential position of chairing the committee that will merge the House and Senate's versions of financial reform legislation, a spokesman for Frank said on Monday.

Frank, the chairman of the House Financial Services Committee, will hold sway as the two chambers try to hammer out major differences in their bills, including rules for derivatives and restrictions on types of trading.

The Senate is expected to name its conferees as soon as Monday, while House Speaker Nancy Pelosi may not name her chamber's conferees until after Congress returns from its Memorial Day break on June 7.

Frank, the chief architect of the bill in the House, said last week that he believes it will not take more than a month to merge the two bills.

OBAMA'S PURPLE SCUMBAGS: SEIU protesters descend on bank exec’s home, terrifying his son...This is the 'Saul Alinsky' democratic strategy...

SAVAGES: These people are animals. The tea party doesn't storm private homes. These purple turds are democrats and they're not the most educated thugs on the block. They should start looking into how the housing market was able to collapse, who fueled the collapse, who ignored the warnings of the collapse, and finally, who is in bed with the very same bank they're protesting.

IT'S THE DEMOCRATS STUPID.... (Dodd, Frank, Obama)

Big Journalism has been all over this, including the odd detail that D.C. cops evidently escorted the Purple People-Beaters to the Bank of America executive’s home in Rockville, Maryland. Fox News regular Nina Easton was on the scene, with good reason: She lives right next door. Quote:

Last Sunday, on a peaceful, sun-crisp afternoon, our toddler finally napping upstairs, my front yard exploded with 500 screaming, placard-waving strangers on a mission to intimidate my neighbor, Greg Baer. Baer is deputy general counsel for corporate law at Bank of America (BAC, Fortune 500), a senior executive based in Washington, D.C. And that — in the minds of the organizers at the politically influential Service Employees International Union and a Chicago outfit called National Political Action — makes his family fair game.

Waving signs denouncing bank “greed,” hordes of invaders poured out of 14 school buses, up Baer’s steps, and onto his front porch. As bullhorns rattled with stories of debtor calls and foreclosed homes, Baer’s teenage son Jack — alone in the house — locked himself in the bathroom. “When are they going to leave?” Jack pleaded when I called to check on him…

Now this event would accurately be called a “protest” if it were taking place at, say, a bank or the U.S. Capitol. But when hundreds of loud and angry strangers are descending on your family, your children, and your home, a more apt description of this assemblage would be “mob.” Intimidation was the whole point of this exercise, and it worked-even on the police. A trio of officers who belatedly answered our calls confessed a fear that arrests might “incite” these trespassers. READ MORE...

Stunning 2006 Barney Frank VIDEO Surfaces: Banks Forced to Report Too Much

Rep. Barney Frank (D-Mass.) speaking at a forum on national housing policy on December 11, 2006. Three weeks after making this speech at the Treasury Department, Frank became Chairman of the House Financial Services Committee.

Frank on Democrats taking over regulatory reform:

“You will see far less difference with Democrats taking over in the Financial Services regulatory area than in virtually any other area of public policy, because we did work together on things like regulatory relief and we have more to do yet in the deregulation. One of the things we did was try to reduce the reporting requirements from the banks to the financial detectives. READ MORE...

STOP VOTING DEMOCRAT! Video: Fannie/Freddie reform “too complicated” to do with financial regulation reform.

What Rep. Paul Kanjorski (D) means is that it’s too expensive … and too politically fraught to do before the elections. Rick Santelli blasts Kanjorski on CNBC this morning for dodging the issue as well as offering the misleading notion that Congress is doing something about the continuing risk of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to taxpayers. After all, Congress took off the limits on the bailout a few months ago, something Kanjorski fails to mention: READ MORE...

Fannie Mae requests another $8 billion in bailout money

This comes as no shock, of course, considering that its sister GSE asked for more than $10 billion on Thursday. Both Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac continue to lose money and continue to raid a Treasury line of credit funded by taxpayers to remain solvent. And oddly, this is something that apparently doesn’t concern Congress at all:

Fannie Mae requested another $8.4 billion from the federal government on Monday, saying that due to trends in the housing and financial markets, the company expects its deficits to continue. …

The request cames just four days after Fannie’s twin Freddie Mac also asked for a handout – to the tune of $10.6 billion – after posting an $8 billion quarterly loss.
In case you’re keeping score, that would bring Fannie’s cash to almost $85 billion. Freddie has spent over $50 billion. READ MORE...

‘One S***** Deal’: Sen. Levin Uses ‘S-Word’ Eleven Times in Grilling of Ex-Goldman Exec

"How much of that s--tty deal did you sell to your clients?"

It's funny to watch the democrats, who caused the housing collapse with Fannie/Freddie/Community Reinvestment Act, which contributed to ruining the economy, talk tough against the same Goldman Sachs who have the democrats in their pockets..

How come the democrats are not grilling Franklin Raines and Barney Frank over Fannie/Freddie on CSPAN? Congressional Democrats successfully blocking regulation by Republicans of Freddie & Fannie the GSE responsible for pushing "affordable housing" to low income - no income individuals.

Foreclosure rates surge, biggest jump in 5 years. Jobless claims rise again. Senators pushing gas tax increase and 'Newsweek' says 'America's Back?'

Do you now understand why liberals are nuts? Liberal owned and operated Newsweek magazine is more out of touch with the American people than Nancy Pelosi is. Their editor needs his head examined...

Senators Pushing Gas Tax Increase

Jobless claims rise for second week

Foreclosure rates surge, biggest jump in 5 years

That's just yesterdays news, let's not forget the trillions of dollars Obama has spent that we still have to pay back at some point down the road. What the hell are the liberals at Newsweek smoking?

Did these morons at Newsweek happen to see the debt clock lately? Obamacare is a major disaster, unemployment is really at 18.5% now (not 9.7%) foreclosures are still going through the roof and Obama's reckless spending continues.

Maybe the idiots at Newsweek should spend less time criticizing Glenn Beck and more time watching his program. They might learn something...

Goldman Sachs, In Bed With Obama, Slapped With Fraud Charges. Did The 'Zombies' Know That 'Evil' Goldman Sachs Donated Millions To Obama's Campaign?

Republicans sought to tie President Barack Obama to Wall Street firm Goldman Sachs after it was hit with civil fraud charges.

House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio) released a statement after the Securities and Exchange Commission filed charges against the Wall Street titan, calling the firm a "key supporter" of the president's bid to reform the nation's financial regulatory system.

"These are very serious charges against a key supporter of President Obama’s bill to create a permanent Wall Street bailout fund," Boehner said Friday in the statement. "Despite President Obama’s rhetoric, his permanent bailout bill gives Goldman Sachs and other big Wall Street banks a permanent, taxpayer-funded safety net by designating them ‘too big to fail.’ Just whose side is President Obama on?"
