Friend Says Hawaii Gov Told Him There Is No Obama Birth Certificate: Daily Caller



Celebrity journalist Mike Evans told Minnesota’s KQRS radio last week that his friend, Hawaii Gov. Neil Abercrombie, has been unable to find President Barack Obama’s birth certificate despite an intensive search.

A group of conspiracy theorists known as “birthers” have long claimed that Obama is constitutionally ineligible for the presidency because he was actually born in Kenya. Abercrombie, an old friend of Obama’s family, made headlines last month when he announced that he was trying to figure out how he could release more explicit documentation of the president’s birth in order to permanently defuse the issue before the 2012 elections. He quickly abandoned his search, however, due to state laws that prevent private documents from being revealed.

“There is nothing more that Gov. Abercrombie can do within the law to produce a document,” Abercrombie’s spokeswoman told reporters on Friday. “Unfortunately, there are conspirators who will continue to question the citizenship of our president.”

According to Evans, who claims that Abercrombie has been his friend “for decades,” the Hawaii Democrat revealed to him “there is no Barack Obama birth certificate in Hawaii, absolutely no proof at all that Obama was born in Hawaii.”

A top aide to former Gov. Rod Blagojevich said he believed Barack Obama knew of Blagojevich's plot to win himself a presidential Cabinet post in exchange for appointing Valerie Jarrett to the U.S. Senate.

John Harris, Blagojevich's former chief of staff, testified Wednesday in the former governor's corruption trial that three days after the Nov. 4, 2008, presidential election, the ex-governor told Harris he felt confident Obama knew he wanted to swap perks.

"The president understands that the governor would be willing to make the appointment of Valerie Jarrett as long as he gets what he's asked for. . . . The governor gets the Cabinet appointment he's asked for," Harris said, explaining a recorded call.


Harris said Blagojevich came away believing Obama knew what he wanted after having a conversation with a local union representative, who in turn spoke with labor leader Tom Balanoff, with whom Blagojevich met to discuss a Jarrett appointment. Top Democrats say stopping the campaign isn't enough: He should leave office now.

The details aren’t really important, but in a nutshell, he accepted trips to the Caribbean which his office knew were being paid for by a corporation that routinely lobbied Congress. Rangel claims that he personally didn’t know who had picked up the tab, in which case why should he be punished for the mistakes of two idiot staffers? We’ll see what the official report says tomorrow; apparently, the committee will claim that he was aware or should have been aware of where the money came from. How would you like to be a New Jersey police officer and look out your window and see several known criminals, including a man you arrested several weeks ago and another who had just been released from prison for shooting a cop? And then find out that the men were sent into the neighborhood by the Democratic Party for GOTV operations – complete with lists of voters names, addresses and phones numbers!

That is what happened Sunday on a quiet street in Morris Township. The officer, who’s name we are with holding, specifically heard the men discussing that he was a police officer and that they now know where he lives. The officer confronted the men and they took off. He contacted the local police who responded and caught up with them and about a dozen other men a few blocks away. Then enter the 'Chicago' machine and all of the sudden, John Corzine is ahead in the polls. New Jersey wins by a landslide in holding the title of America's 'dumbest' voters.

New Jersey Governor Jon Corzine is locked in the political fight of his life. With just hours left before voting, polls show a neck-and-neck race between Corzine and GOP candidate Chris Christie, with Independent candidate Chris Daggett pulling significant support. Obama and VP Biden are making last ditch pitches for the embattled governor. But evidence is building that Corzine’s campaign may see its only salvation is in rigging the election.

The first sign is a straight-up dirty trick. Daggett’s run for office is certainly convenient for Corzine, as he will help split any anti-Corzine vote. And, as a Corzine political appointee, one wonders if his candidacy wasn’t a set up to begin with. Now, in the final days of the campaign, it appears state democrats are paying for robo calls supporting Independent Chris Daggett. First reported here, the robo calls attack Christie (but not Corzine) and promote Daggett. At the end of the call, it is mentioned that the calls are paid for by a “project of the NJSDC.” No idea what that acronym stands for, but New Jersey State Democratic Committee, isn’t too big of a stretch. More interesting is the fact that the return number on the calls is the same number that was used to promote Maryland Governor Martin O’Malley’s election in closing days of the 2006 race. WILL VOTER FRAUD HELP CORZINE IN NJ? Democrats Ask New Jersey Secretary of State to Ignore Mismatched Signatures on Absentee-Ballot Requests; SCUMBAGS

This year, New Jersey’s registered voters can request a mail-in ballot for any reason. (Before 2005, voters needed to provide a reason for why they needed an absentee ballot.) The state received about 150,000 absentee-ballot applications this year.

On about 2,300 of those applications so far, the signature on the request form does not match the signature on the voter’s registration forms with the state.

In a development that is depressingly predictable, the New Jersey Democratic party is asking the state to provide provisional ballots for all these voters. Those ballots could, presumably, be used to overcome any narrow lead by Republican Chris Christie over Democrat Jon Corzine on Election Day.

A mass distribution of provisional ballots, at the request of a political party, would represent a significant change from established law. Currently, when a county clerk rejects an absentee-ballot request, the clerk tries to contact the voter — through mail, by phone, and in some cases, by attempting to contact the voter in person. And a person who has spoken to some of New Jersey’s county clerks says they’re granting wide latitude on signature styles; for them to reject a ballot request because of the signature, it has to be dramatically different from the one on file. Even if Christie wins, and he's no Reagan, but still 20 times better than Corzine and his 'plant,' the other liberal Chris Daggett, the fact that it was so close still gives New Jersey the title of 'dumbest voters.' New Jersey Gov. Jon Corzine leads Republican challenger Christopher Christie for the first time in their five-month slugfest, on top 43 - 38 percent among likely voters, according to a Quinnipiac University poll released today. Independent candidate Christopher Daggett has 13 percent, with 5 percent undecided.

This compares to a 41 - 40 percent Christie lead, with 14 percent for Daggett, in an October 14 survey by the independent Quinnipiac (KWIN-uh-pe-ack) University.

Among Daggett supporters, 38 percent say they might change their mind: 43 percent say Christie is their second choice, while 27 percent say Gov. Corzine is number two.

Only 12 percent of Christie voters and 19 percent of Corzine backers say they might change their mind.

Corzine leads 79 - 8 percent among Democratic likely voters, with 10 percent for Daggett. Christie leads 79 - 7 percent among Republicans, with 9 percent for Daggett, and 45 - 30 percent among independent voters, with 20 percent for Daggett. READ MORE...

The former governor was impeached and thrown out of office for allegedly trying to sell President Barack Obama’s Senate seat for personal gain, among other corruption charges. The expletive-laden criminal complaint against him made for intrigue—and comedy—as he quickly became a target for Saturday Night Live and late-night talk shows. Blagojevich’s rambling defense before the Illinois senate and bizarre string of media appearances on “The View” and “The Late Show with David Letterman” proved that Illinois politics can not only be corrupt but also just plain weird.

–New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson: Before tax problems tinged Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner or derailed Tom Daschle as health and human services secretary, Richardson was the first mini-scandal to hit the nascent—and still very popular—Obama administration. Tapped to serve as commerce secretary, Richardson withdrew his name because of an ongoing pay-to-play federal investigation in his home state. Richardson has not been charged with any wrongdoing, but the Associated Press reported over the weekend that a grand jury subpoenaed records from his office dating back to 2002.

–Mayors Gone Wild! From sea to shining sea, Democratic mayors have gotten nabbed in scandals recently from the inappropriate to the illegal. In Portland, newly elected Mayor Sam Adams is caught up in a sex scandal. In Hartford, Conn., Mayor Eddie Perez has been charged with bribery related to work done on his home. In Detroit, former Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick was recently released after serving three months in jail on obstruction of justice charges.
