On Thursday, Glenn Beck recounted founding father scholar David Barton’s Wednesday-night appearance on “The Daily Show” With Jon Stewart. Beck summed up the interview in two words: “Boom, winning!”

In part one of the interview, Stewart and Barton square off over whether the founding fathers intended for America to be a Christian nation. And you can guess who falls where int he debate.

For example, in describing the controversy surrounding prayer in public schools and institutions, Barton says, “…the fact that it might make me feel uncomfortable is not enough to keep everyone else from practicing their faith…just because I’m uncomfortable with the way they do it.” Stewart rejects this notion.

As people around the world began reacting to the news of Osama Bin Laden's death with a mix of joy and relief, the 23-year-old Mendenhall took a different approach. He went on a Twitter rampage against those people that took pleasure in Bin Laden's death, and made it clear he's not convinced Bin Laden was responsible for the 9/11 attacks.

"We'll never know what really happened," Mendenhall tweeted. "I just have a hard time believing a plane could take a skyscraper down demolition style."

Mendenhall got in trouble with his Tweets back in March, too, after Vikings running back Adrian Peterson had compared being an NFL player to "modern-day slavery."

Mendenhall - who is entering the third year of a five-year, $9.855 million that included $7.125 million in guaranteed money - agreed.

WAS MENDENHALL INDOCTRINATED?

Mendenhall played his college football at the University of Illinois. With all of the indoctrination going on in our college classrooms across the country, are people really surprised he thinks the way he does?

Radical professors are all over our universities indoctrinating our youth, but where Mendenhall attended college is known for one of the most radical, Bill Ayers. David Horowitz of "Discover the Networks", a former radical himself, knows Ayers well.

“His actual title is distinguished professor of early childhood education,” said Horowitz. “When I was a leftist I knew Billy Ayers and I thought he was an idiot. He was one of the most shallow, ignorant people I have met on the left, and that’s saying something…

Ayers taught at the University of Illinois-Chicago, and was very well known at all Illinois campuses. And he wasn't the only radical professor who taught there..

We’ll take that as a “no.” But those curious responses beg the question: Have these college students ever taken an economics class? “It’s not my debt.” Really?
