Video Justice: Car Czar Forced to Answer a Tough Series of Questions About the Beck-Exposed Video of His Mao Love

Back in 2009, the Glenn Beck program was the first major media outlet to air a clip of Ron Bloom, the Obama Administrations Car Czar, praising the violent tactics of Mao Zedong . Bloom is a senior official in the Obama Administration. No lightweight, his current duties include serving as Senior Advisor to the Secretary of the Treasury, director of the President’s Task Force on the Automotive Industry and also the Administration’s Senior Counselor for Manufacturing Policy. Mr. Bloom has a long past as a labor negotiator and union lawyer working for the United Steelworkers union since the mid nineties. Early in his career he also worked for the Service Employees International Union (SEIU).

So when the video surfaced of this top White House official praising the Chinese communist, Beck used the clip to help build the growing narrative of Obama officials admiration of aggressive and oppressive governments. Of course it can often seem that these reveling details are lost in the fast moving news cycles and giant machinery of the bureaucratic system. Until recently when Congressman Connie Mack (R-FL 14) brought a little poetic justice to our political process during a late June hearing for Stimulus Oversight and Government Spending by asking Mr. Bloom a tough series of questions about the remarks he made in the video. MSNBC‘s Lawrence O’Donnell abruptly ended an interview with queen birther Orly Taitz Wednesday after screaming at her for several minutes.

Things turned ugly when “The Last Word” host refused to allow his guest to discuss President Obama’s Selective Service certificate and Taitz responded by saying, “Your program is nothing but Obama propaganda machine”

Taitz even predicted that she wouldn't be allowed to speak because the last time she was a guest on MSNBC, she was treated like garbage by the slobbering Obama supporting MSNBC. Lawrence O'Donnell, who CLEARLY has a mental disorder, didn't give Taitz a chance to discuss Obama's selective service certificate.

Barrack Obama used the SSN 042-68-4425 on his Selective Service Form. One problem; That SSN was issued to Jean Paul Ludwig. Is Barrack Obama guilty of social security fraud? Is this new birth certificate real? People have a right to know this information.

On Friday morning, conservative radio host Glenn Beck fired back at O’Donnell and his network, asserting “MSNBC has become the most anti‑god network ever put on the air in the history of America.”

O‘Donnell doesn’t understand or believe in the Bible or Book of Revelation, Beck said, because “progressives believe that they are God. They will have collective salvation and they will fix everything.”

Noel Sheppard over at NewsBusters has some interesting statistics about O‘Donnell’s viewership. Sheppard points out that O‘Donnell’s viewership numbers have declined by 45 percent since his premiere in the 8PM time slot.

“When O‘Donnell premiered at 8PM the first Monday after Olbermann’s departure, he garnered over 1.5 million viewers,” Sheppard writes. “By last Thursday, that had plummeted to 843,000.”

He also notes that fellow MSNBC host Chris Matthews has mentioned Glenn Beck on 17 of his last 20 shows. That leads Sheppard to conclude that MSNBC‘s ratings strategy consists of simply attacking the network’s competitors — “How pathetic.”
