Update: "Miss Me" billboard mystery solved. Small business owners behind Bush 'Miss Me Yet?' billboard

MYSTERY SOLVED: Minnesota Public Radio news blog, News Cut by Bob Collins, is reporting that a group of "small business owners who feel Washington is against them" is responsible for erecting a giant billboard featuring a picture of George W. Bush and the question: "Miss Me Yet?" over I-35 in Wyoming, Minn.

At first, internet chatter labeled it as no more than an urban myth or Photoshop fake, but apparently Collins at Minnesota Public Radio has seen it with his own eyes.

Just who paid to put this billboard remained a mystery up until this afternoon when Collins posted the following on his site:

They wish to remain anonymous. They thought it was a fun way of getting out their message."

So, that's the latest on the great billboard mystery.

  1. Well, I voted for him, but I rue the day ... I don't like Obama either, but at least his crummy approval rating is double Bush's lowest. Miss Bush? That's like asking if I miss Nixon. Seriously. Anything is better, even the jerk we've got now.

Who could possibly imagine that the average American could miss Bush? No matter how much we dislike Obama (and at this point I bet even most of the folks who voted for him are realizing he can't deliver on any of the promises they hoped he would), nobody misses Bush.

  2. I disagree..Obama is taking down a far more dangerous path. Bush's debt we could have paid off down the road with a great President in 2016 even. With Obama, you could have the brightest President in the world and you will never pay off 13 plus trillion dollars with interest and he has 3 years left!!!
With Bush, I would keep him ONLY if NEW elections were held within 6 months..So I do miss him...just dont want him for 4 more years. Obama either..He's a piece of shit.

  3. I must say that Anonymous is still drinking the Kool Aid if he/she thinks that obama is better in any way, shape or form...this "beast" is the most disgusting "person" to ever walk the hallways of the White House, and that is the absolute truth! I pray every day that this country survives the next three years, and also pray that this fall, we get Republicans in to replace democrats (no rinos, please) so we can put a stop to the obama agenda- if we don't, I believe we are doomed! Everyone must remember- we can't vote for third party candidates in 2010, as this usually allows democrats to win- Republicans only-PLEASE!!!!!!!

  4. Strong (REALLY STRONG) Conservatives...I am no fan of the republican party...but what the dems have tried to do America is absolutely intolerable. I want Constitutional Conservatives who know and understand that our LIBERTIES are not for sale by them or anyone else. I do not want BHO/Lucifer and his minions to succeed...but to be honest even though GWB did alot to erode civil liberties...I would much rather have him back than this insepid moron now in office. GWB at least had enough sense to understand that there is a limit to what people are willing to endure.
