Economic 'Airhead' Christina Romer Departing Obama Administration. Going Back To Teaching College Students At Berkeley Her Failed Economic Policies..

Another 'academic' failure in the Obama administration...

WASHINGTON (AP) — Christina Romer, the departing chief of President Barack Obama’s economic advisory council, cast disagreements among key players on the White House economic team as a healthy part of reaching tough policy decisions.

“Everybody knows we’re all strong personalities,” Romer told The Associated Press on Friday. “We don’t hesitate to have a very aggressive back and forth. But I think one of the things that we have done is absolutely find our groove. We’re a wonderful team.”

Romer said she is leaving solely for family reasons. She has been a chief economic aide to Obama, along with such advisers as Larry Summers, director of the White House National Economic Council, and Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner. The economic leadership team has faced scrutiny and worked through its share of debates as the administration tries to help move the country out of a mammoth, job-swallowing recession.

Romer has often been the public, optimistic face defending the president’s decisions. READ MORE...

  1. I hate how this society is in perpetual war. And it's not even a logical one.

On one side is the private sector. On the other is the public sector, the majority of the media, and academia. While the private sector is out actually doing things, academia and the media (well, the majority, but not all of it, to be fair) get on their soapboxes and talk about policies that sound great, but anyone who's ever tried to run a business knows is actually foolish.

Somehow, these "experts" who have never applied their principles once in the real world, think that they are good to lead a country with. If Obama and friends just let the economic crisis ride out, we'd probably be close to normal by now. Instead, it's just like 1980, only now we have 2 1/2 years to wait to get rid of our mess instead of just 1/2 a year. Not to mention some people still insist on hero-worshipping this guy, and I'm fearful he'll win in 2012.

  2. Indeed, an airhead. Just a few weeks ago she was gloating how they had created hundreds of thousands of jobs. It was total BS, but what do you expect from liberals? Summers is still an advisor along with Geithner the tax evader as his acolyte in training. They need to air that Frontline special Inside the Meltdown more. Like having wolves guarding the sheep. I can't believe you all voted this administration into office.
