26,000 divided by 12 months equals 2166.66 per month.

Immediately after this exchange, Pat Buchanan asked about the recent study showing the average Wisconsin teacher’s compensation valued at $100,000 per year. Weingarten chose to dismiss these facts, instead using a broad stroke example of the national average, without addressing the very specific Wisconsin data.
