Chris Wallace Takes Tim Geithner to Task Over Obama’s Spending

Tim Geithner was on ‘Fox News Sunday’ today and it seemed a rattled Treasury Secretary was unable to give a straight answer to Chris Wallace. Failing to explain any contingency plans that President Obama said he was investigating, an elusive Geithner only said that his plan was for Congress to raise the debt ceiling. Asked repeatedly what would happen if the debt limit was not raised by the August 2nd deadline, Geithner would not give a definite plan of action.

Mentioning the “80 million” checks written each month by the U.S. Government, Geithner would not say if any program or agency would receive priority from the payouts. Saying, “we will do everything we can to mitigate the damage” Geithner reiterated the fact that “we do not have the ability, Chris, to protect the American people from the consequences of Congress not” raising the debt ceiling.

Home Depot Co-Founder Blasts Obama: Even ‘Brain-Dead Economists’ Get It

First it was Steve Wynn, head of the famed Wynn resort empire, speaking out against Obama. Now its Bernie Marcus, co-founder of The Home Depot.

In an interview with Investor’s Business Daily (IBD), Marcus blasted Obama and his policies, saying “even brain-dead economists understand that when you raise taxes, you cost jobs.”

MAHER AND THE PILLOW-BITER: Santorum Hits Back At Radical Homo Dan Savage, Who Wants to 'Fu**' Him....(Ewww, Gross!)

Rick Santorum appeared yesterday on Steve Malzberg’s radio show to respond to Dan Savage’s disgusting comments last week on Bill Maher’s HBO show “Real Time”. In case you missed those comments, I have posted the clip below for your, um, edification. To paraphrase: Savage said he wouldn’t mind having forceful gay sex on Santorum, just to set him straight on his politics. Or something.

Make no mistake about it, Savage is one sick little creep.

Needless to say, Santorum was fired up and really hit back hard at Savage and the rest of Bill Maher’s vulgar panel. They all got a hearty laugh out of Savage’s filthy rant – I don’t think Maher had a single conservative on the panel (would’ve been a nice time to have Andrew Breitbart booked). Santorum also laid into the media for routinely letting liberals get away with this kind of garbage, and worse than that, applauding people like Savage because they happen to be bashing conservatives, which fits their ideological agenda.

All in all, this is Santorum at his best – unapologetically defending conservatism and traditional family values. Great job!

NOTE- The fact that Savage thinks 'Obamacare' is quality healthcare and doesn't cost as much shows how delusional he is. And if he wants taxpayers to pay for his future HIV medication, he might want to reconsider cheering for 'Obamacare' and either stop having unprotected gay sex (placing his manhood where another man has a bowel movement) or securing a policy now through a private insurance company. (We're hoping he chooses government care for obvious reasons)

A rise in the number of Americans filing new claims for unemployment benefits suggested the reacceleration in output would not be as strong as had previously anticipated.

The Philadelphia Federal Reserve Bank said its business activity index rose to 3.2 from minus 7.7 in June, which was the lowest since July 2009. The rise beat economists' expectations for a reading of 2.0.

Rep. Allen West, a first-term Republican from south Florida, wasn’t shy about his online outburst. He sent his peppery email to numerous lawmakers as well as his target, Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, D-Fla., the chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee.

The subject line of the email: “Unprofessional and Inappropriate Sophomoric Behavior from Wasserman Schultz.”

The e-mail said: “Look, Debbie, I understand that after I departed the House floor you directed your floor speech comments directly towards me. Let me make myself perfectly clear, you want a personal fight, I am happy to oblige. You are the most vile, unprofessional and despicable member of the US House of Representatives. The list goes on, but that alone is enough for most Americans to wish that Sarah Palin was the President over Barack Obama, a man who given $100 and a thousands lemons would bankrupt a lemonade stand by the end of the day. Obama is an 'economic retard' and a con artist who has lied so many times, we lost count.
