The top Democrat in the U.S. Senate apologized on Saturday for comments he made about Barack Obama's race during the 2008 presidential bid and are quoted in a yet-to-be-released book about the campaign.
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid of Nevada described in private then-Sen. Barack Obama as "light skinned" and "with no Negro dialect, unless he wanted to have one." Obama is the nation's first African-American president.
"I deeply regret using such a poor choice of words. I sincerely apologize for offending any and all Americans, especially African-Americans for my improper comments," Reid said in a statement released after the excerpts were first reported on the Web site of The Atlantic.
"I was a proud and enthusiastic supporter of Barack Obama during the campaign and have worked as hard as I can to advance President Obama's legislative agenda." READ MORE...

White liberals use blacks for votes. That's why they support 'democrat' black Mayors in the inner cities to 'fetch' the black vote for them. The Nancy Pelosi and Barbara Boxer type-libbs are not going into the black community and the churches in Detroit or Philadelphia to beg for the black vote. They sure as hell don't want blacks living in their neighborhoods unless they're the radical 'academic negro' types like Barack Obama, Cornel West, Henry Louis Gates, Maxine Waters, Marc Lamont Hill etc...
So why would Barack Obama accept such a phony apology? Probably because he's really not offended by it. After all, Obama is a mostly 'white' liberal who couldn't relate to the black community if he took acting lessons. Also, Obama needs Reid like Reid needs Obama to pass their radical agenda and rob us all blind. As for what Harry Reid said, there's no excuse. It wasn't as if he made a harmless black joke or asked James Clyburn, 'yo nigga, how much to buy your vote on health care?'
What Harry Reid said, he truly meant.

Harry Reid pretty much said, ' he's kinda black, not too black, but he's not like the rest of those niggers. He's educated, talks like us and he can get the black vote by using his orchestrated slang and swagger.'

The black community isn't made up of people who support gay marriage, transgendered adoptions, attacks on Christianity, higher taxes, corruption, lies, deception, wealth redistribution, abortions, poor public schools and other plans the democrats have to keep people dumb, down and miserable... so why do they vote democrat?
