Sarah Palin: It’s War, Not A Crime Spree. Palin Seems To 'Get It,' Unlike Our Sissy President...

It’s War, not a Crime Spree

President Obama’s meeting with his top national security advisers does nothing to change the fact that his fundamental approach to terrorism is fatally flawed. We are at war with radical Islamic extremists and treating this threat as a law enforcement issue is dangerous for our nation’s security. That’s what happened in the 1990s and we saw the result on September 11, 2001. This is a war on terror not an “overseas contingency operation.” Acts of terrorism are just that, not “man caused disasters.” The system did not work. Abdulmutallab was a child of privilege radicalized and trained by organized jihadists, not an “isolated extremist” who traveled to a land of “crushing poverty.” He is an enemy of the United States, not just another criminal defendant.

It simply makes no sense to treat an al Qaeda-trained operative willing to die in the course of massacring hundreds of people as a common criminal. Reports indicate that Abdulmutallab stated there were many more like him in Yemen but that he stopped talking once he was read his Miranda rights. President Obama’s advisers lamely claim Abdulmutallab might be willing to agree to a plea bargain – pretty doubtful you can cut a deal with a suicide bomber. John Brennan, the President’s top counterterrorism adviser, bizarrely claimed “there are no downsides or upsides” to treating terrorists as enemy combatants. That is absurd. There is a very serious downside to treating them as criminals: terrorists invoke their “right” to remain silent and stop talking. Terrorists don’t tell us where they were trained, what they were trained in, who they were trained by, and who they were trained with. Giving foreign-born, foreign-trained terrorists the right to remain silent does nothing to keep Americans safe from terrorist threats. It only gives our enemies access to courtrooms where they can publicly grandstand, and to defense attorneys who can manipulate the legal process to gain access to classified information.

President Obama was right to change his policy and decide to send no more detainees to Yemen where they can be free to rejoin their war on America. Now he must back off his reckless plan to close Guantanamo, begin treating terrorists as wartime enemies not suspects alleged to have committed crimes, and recognize that the real nature of the terrorist threat requires a commander-in-chief, not a constitutional law professor.

  1. Look at the two of them juxtaposed side by side.

It is the difference between a president who from dusk to dawn sheds no visible sunshine and his lack of moral values is occasioning in a dark period in our countries history---compared to a woman who scares the living daylight out of him---and like the rising and setting sun she will usher in a NEW DAY with her openness, straight fowardness---and unlike Obama an adherence to the facts----what distinguishes the one from the other is like night and day.

  2. How is hoax and change doing Obama supporters.
Take the teleprompter away form this crown cancer and Obama makes Bush look like a man of strong learning inclination compared to this stuttering spasmodic repetitious prevaricator.

Everytime this loser moves his lips he make's Joe Wilson look like Nostadamus.

Like Sarah Palin or dislike her, at least you can be rest assured that she says what she means and means what she says.

Compared to this loser of a president Sarah is a regeneration of sanctification.

Obama emanates hate for our country, just look at all his appointments for proof.
Sarah emanates not only love for our country and love for our military, she personifies grace and would be a shot in the arm for raising the moral standards once again as a leading role model.

  3. The Dems with the encouragement of Obama, what to give Al Qaeda a seat at the negotiating table---the communist democratic party feel very strongly that this gesture will engender positive respect for their integrity when askng for the American vote come November.

This olive branch they are extending to Al Qaida will they are hoping dispel any incompetence and cowardice that Al Qaeda presently feel's about our crown cancer.

Obama idiots do you feel that the communist democratic party has point?

  4. The trick in the W. H. thinks he is accomplishing 2 feats at the same time.
The crown cancer think's that by closing Guantanamo bay Al Qaida will grow to love us and they will stop killing American citizens---someone please tell the dummy in the W. H. that Al Qaida lives to kill us, and that the only way they will stop killing us is if we kill them first.
2-It will assuage the LOONEY LEFT.

The difference between Sarah and the hoax is that when Al Qaida see's both Sarah and Obama's backside they only see one of them with a spine---can you guess which one?

Everytime Obama kisses the ass of Al Qaida by providing them with a lawyer when they are captured, it only strengthen's their perception of Obama as limp toilet paper.

  5. Interesting question posted on an Al Qaida web-site----How does the president of the United States merit a Nobel Peace Prize when our reign of terror has escalated under his leadership----even removing a plane from the sky with all its passengers seems not to stir any hostility towards us, as Obama went on with his vacation as if nothing happened----interesting indeed!!!
