A California "sanctuary city" has fallen victim to illegal immigration – going bankrupt and firing all of its public employees, Jerome Corsi's Red Alert reports.
The city of Maywood, Calif., hit the budget wall after it decided not only to be a sanctuary city, but to be a completely "safe haven" for illegal aliens seeking protection from deportation.
"Predictably, mainstream media newspapers, including the Financial Times in London, chose to present Maywood as a victim to the recession, rather than to tell the whole story – that Maywood fell victim to illegal immigration," Corsi wrote.
"Crushed by the recession and falling tax revenues, the city is disbanding the police force and firing all public sector employees," Matthew Garrahan wrote in the Financial Times, never mentioning that illegal immigration was the problem.
Maywood is a small town comprising only about 1.2 square miles on the southern border of Los Angeles. More than 96 percent of its residents are Hispanic. The town's official population is listed at 29,000 but may be nearly 45,000 when illegal aliens living in Maywood are counted. READ MORE...
just the 1st in many cities to come. deport all illegals and create 100,000 jobs to do it. eliminate every entitlement program and stop delivering their babies. they will leave. build the fence with 40,000 volts. it can be cleaned up real quick if we really want to do it.
ReplyDeleteIt sure can be cleaned up. I am in Atlanta where the Hispanic population has boomed since I came here in 1996. I see American citizens begging for money on the street, while undocumented ILLEGAL immigrants traipse off to work every morning after a fresh shower that many citizens don't get because they are homeless. I guess that is the price to pay since we weren't raised to co-habitate and live 15 people to a 2 bedroom apartment. And the apartment managers make it so much worse by allowing it. I faxed the IRS advertisements in 2007 about the ITIN (tax id) that illegals get for tax filing purposes only. They have "no idea" that illegals are using these tax id's to rent apartments, buy houses, (many of those under foreclosure now), buy cars, auto insurance, etc. It is a DISGRACE that an illegal alien can buy a house in my country and I cannot because of credit issues. I begged the IRS to give ME a tax id so I could start my credit all over again. They refused. I told them that was one of the WORST mistakes the US government had ever made. I think it should be further investigated. That is fraud, plain and simple...
ReplyDeleteAgreed! It just needs to be done. Put troops on the border while the high voltage, razor wire wall is being built - simple. Then start mass deportation of illegals. I'm so tired of hearing this can't be done.
