BILL CLINTON IS A MORON: Clinton Not Only Justifies Byrd’s KKK Past, He Lies While Doing It..

"..they mention that he once had a fleeting association with the Klu (sic) Klux Klan..."

Fleeting? Byrd joined the KKK in 1942 and was a leader of his chapter. He wrote a letter praising the KKK in 1947 and defended the Klan in his Senate run in 1958. He voted against Thurgood Marshall and Clarence Thomas and he filibustered the 1964 Civil Rights Act.

But, beyond the mis-characterization, what does this statement say about Clinton's opinion of Southern voters?
