That was Nancy Pelosi on the government takeover of healthcare. The same strategy has held true for the Left's plan to take our energy economy out of the private sector and micromanage its "transformation" in Washington DC.

ReplyDeleteThank you for the link. The Exelon story is, in short, that because the Senate could not pass Cap and Trade, they've brought it in through the back door. The EPA is forcing power plants to close (3 in WV) by submitting them to regulations they cannot possibly meet in the given time frames. This is forcing AEP in WV, for example, to buy electricity from Chicago-based Exelon. Some of Obama's biggest fundraisers plus Rahm Emanuel and David Axelrod all have ties to Exelon. It's not about the environment or health issues, it's about forcing an upsurge in the cost of energy for consumers in order to line the pockets of Obama's cronies. Of course if this were Bush, he would be tarred, feathered and crucified in the press....
